Replica Breguet Classique Chronograph Mens Watch 5247BR.29.9V6

The Classique 5247 watch encloses a manually wound mechanical chronograph movement fitted with a column-wheel device. Featuring a power reserve of 48 hours, the existing caliber has been subject to some readjustments, notably an increase in its frequency, henceforth taken to three hertz.

In an elegant case of pink gold, the timepiece returns to dials in white fired enamel, an art now rare in the world of watchmaking and which requires great mastery of matter and fire to obtain that marvelous granular consistency. The Breguet secret signature produced by a pantograph with a stylus is fleetingly visible in oblique light.

The chronograph functions are arranged in balance, which helps make them perfectly legible. A red tachometer scale in a scroll (spiral) enables one to measure the speed of an object in motion over a given distance. It is echoed by the central chronograph hand, which takes on the same vermilion hue. The 30-seconds counter and the small seconds face each other symmetrically at 3 and 9. Each sports a blued-steel hand of unusual design. The celebrated Breguet Arabic numerals unfold their graceful calligraphy on an enamel overflown by the classic off-center and openwork moon hands.

Fitted on a leather strap, the 5247 watch in pink or white gold is available to order with a dial in fired enamel or a sliver-plated gold dial that is engine-turned by hand.
A pillar of watchmaking tradition, Breguet has a long and distinguished lineage. Its founder, Abraham-Louis Breguet is considered by many as the father of watchmaking. Indeed, he is one of the greatest horologists of all time. Since 1775, clients have included Napoleon Bonaparte, Marie-Antoinette, Winston Churchill, Alexander Dumas, Princes, Dukes, Sultans and Kings. Breguet's influence on watchmaking is unequalled. He perfected the self-winding watch, created the first oil-free escapement, incorporated the first shock absorber into a timepiece, developed perpetual date mechanisms, and invented and patented the Tourbillon. Signature Breguet styling is evident in today's masterpieces; blue steel hands, guilloche engraving, and the fluted caseband.
